PUBLIÉ LE 14 Novembre 2019

The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues (2-9-1=5 points, 7th position) play two home games this weekend in Atlantic University Sport women’s hockey games at the J.-Louis-Lévesque Arena.

The University of New Brunswick (UNB) Reds (8-4-0=16 points, 3rd position) will be the opponents on Friday and the Mount Allison University Mounties (2-10-1=5 points, 8th position) on Saturday, both games at 7 p.m.

Marc-André Côté’s team has lost its last six games whereas UNB won its last two. “We worked hard to get ready for the weekend and we aim to change things by scoring the first goal in a game for a change,” Côté said. “We must not overlook our zone and defence, but we have to emphasize scoring goals. Against the Reds, we gave them the two previous games. We are capable of playing better by keeping our structure of play.”

The Reds did win their previous two games 7-2 and 4-3. Moncton was victorious 1-0 against the Mounties in their only meeting this season.
